Tailored environmental consulting: bridging research to regulations

About Me
My career is built on a strong technical foundation in chemistry, geochemistry, and environmental toxicology — backed by a Ph.D. in Geochemistry (2016) and over a decade of professional experience in metals, mining, and critical mineral concerns.
I have successfully managed concurrent, multi-stakeholder research projects supporting the development and implementation of global environmental regulations across Canada, the USA, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, and the ASEAN region. As an IBERA Diplomate, I bring specialized expertise in bioavailability modeling, geochemical systems, and risk assessment frameworks spanning the Clean Water Act, REACH, CERCLA, and beyond.
My passion lies in science communication — translating complex technical principles into digestible materials for policymakers and non-technical stakeholders alike. I believe that even the most robust data is only as effective as it is understandable, and I pride myself on contextualizing the "big picture" to drive meaningful outcomes.
When I'm not at my desk, you can find me in the Denver-metro area of Colorado, where my partner and I manage a wonderfully chaotic household with our two dogs (Rosie and Stella), one cat (Patsy), and two axolotls (Portobello and Fig). In my free time, I enjoy amateur nature photography, embroidery, and reading.
I love learning new things and am always looking to expand and challenge myself with new ideas. If you're looking for a fresh perspective or require objective expertise, I'd love to hear from you.
